Rosemont Happening - March, 2019

We had a fun-filled day on the picnic to “Hanoi Botanical Gardens”. They had a chance to experience the fresh air and the beauty of spring with a lot of trees blooming, Spring green. They loved sharing all the food that you prepared for them. They have also learnt  a lot about how to share and take care of other members in their team.

March, 2019

Dear Parents,

In the month of March, we warmly welcomed Minh Khang and Hai Dang to Rosemont family. We also rearranged the students in the Piggy and Joey classes. They all settled very quickly into their class and they started to participate in the class activities now. We also welcomed Ms Huong Giang, an experience Vietnamese teacher. She loves working with children and was really excited to get to know you and your children and be a part of Rosemont family. Sadly, we have to say goodbye to Ms Quyen, she has a new plan for her future. We wish her all the best with her future!

In the spirit of Women’s Day, all the students were interested in discussing the importance of the women’s role in the society and in the family. They spent a lot of time making beautiful cards for their important women: mommies, grandmothers, sisters.... On behalf of the RAIS faculty and staff, I would like to say thank you to all of you for your beautiful flowers, gifts and warm wishes for us on Women’s Day.

The recap of the weekly themes: Transports for Piggy Class and Flowers, Fruit  and Vegetables for Joey and Dinosaur. The children were interested in talking about the different plants and they do a lot of activities relating to the theme. In Joey Class, the children discussed the importance roles of fruits and they were so facinated in the “Erupting apple volcano!”  during Science lesson. They mixed baking soda, vinegar and poured the mixture inside a carved apple and watched it explode!”. They also enjoyed singing and dancing “Fruits” song very much, their happy voice are around the school the whole week. In Dinosaur Class, the children had fun time making and enjoying lemonade. They squized lemon by themselves then added sugar and baking soda to have cool drink. They also had great time to make fruit salad. They are all excited to take a kind of their favourite fruit to school. Thanks to all parents to help making this activity successful. In Piggy Class, all the new students have settled in very well and started to follow the class routines. They learnt a lot about different kinds of transport. They love making the boat and saw it float in the water. They also had fun flying paper airplane to see thing “go up and down”.
